SWD Electrical Isolator

The J-Link SWD Isolator can be connected between the J-Link/Flasher and any ARM-board that uses the standard 20-pin JTAG connector to provide electrical isolation. This is essential when the development tools are not connected to the same ground as the application.
JTAG Electrical Isolator

The J-Link JTAG Isolator can be connected between the J-Link/Flasher and any ARM-board that uses the standard 20-pin JTAG connector to provide electrical isolation. This is essential when the development tools are not connected to the same ground as the application.

The J-Link USB Isolator can be connected between the J-Link / Flasher and the host PC to provide electrical isolation.
J-Link Measurement+Patch Adapter J-Link Mictor 38 Adapter 20-Pin to 6-Pin Needle Adapter

The J-Link Measurement+Patch Adapter provides test points for all debug signals to allow easy access for test probes. It has a standard 20-pin 0.1" socket towards the J-Link debug probe and a standard 20-pin 0.1" header on the target side and can directly be inserted between the J-Link and the debug cable maintaining a 1:1 connection of all debug signals. For increased flexibility VTref on pin 1 and the target supply voltage on pin 19 can be interrupted by means of two jumpers.

The J-Link Measurement+Patch Adapter allows easy customized wiring between J-Link and targets that do not provide a standard debug connector that has already been addressed by one of the many available J-Link adapters. The wiring between J-Link and the target is done via colored jumper wires that are shipped with the J-Link Measurement+Patch Adapter.

The J-Link Mictor 38 Adapter connects the standard 20-pin 0.1" J-Link interface to the 38-pin Mictor interface. The pinout follows the single target connector pinout specification as defined in the ARM "ETM Architecture Specification".

The adapter connects the GND and JTAG pins to their counterparts on the 20-pin J-Link. Trace pins present on the Mictor connector are not connected as they are not present on the 20-pin J-Link connector. The 38-pin Mictor side of the adapter can be plugged either directly into the target side or via trace cable. The J-Link side connects to J-Link via 20-pin flat cable.

The 20-Pin to 6-Pin Needle Adapter converts the 20-pin, 0.1 inch standard connector to a 6-pin, 0.05 inch needle pattern.

20-Pin to 10-Pin Needle Adapter

The 20-Pin to 10-Pin Needle Adapter converts the 20-pin, 0.1 inch standard connector to a 10-pin, 0.05 inch needle pattern.
10-Pin to 10-Pin Needle Adapter

The 10-Pin to 10-Pin Needle Adapter converts the 10-pin, 0.1 inch standard connector to a 10-pin, 0.05 inch needle pattern. Does NOT include 20-Pin to 10-Pin Adapter Board.

The J-Link Target Supply Adapter provides an adjustable supply voltage to the target board. It has a standard 20-pin 0.1" socket towards the J-Link debug probe and a standard 20-pin 0.1" header on the target side and can directly be inserted between the J-Link and the debug cable maintaining a 1:1 connection of all debug signals. The supply voltage to the target is provided through pin 19 of the debug cable.

The supply voltage is fixed to 3.3V and can be adjusted in the range 3.6V down to 0.8V by means of changing a single resistor on the adapter (soldering required, resistor package SMD 0805). Since the J-Link Target Supply Adapter is fed by the J-Link its current capability is limited to 400mA. Furthermore the current capability depends on the chosen target voltage. Example target voltage/output current combinations:

  • 3,6V/400mA*
  • 3,3V/400mA*(default)
  • 2,5V/300mA**
  • 1,8V/200mA**
  • 1,0V/150mA**

The J-Link 2mm Adapter converts the 20-pin, 0.1 inch pitch standard J-Link connector to a 20-pin, 2mm pitch connector. The J-Link 2mm Adapter is a 1:1 adapter. The J-Link Altera Adapter converts the 20-pin, 0.1 inch pitch standard J-Link connector to a 10-pin connector (compatible ByteBlaster II). Includes 10 pin ribbon cable.
