Product information "J-Link BASE Compact"

Get the J-Link BASE Compact: the compact, BASE version of SEGGER’s J-Link debug probe family.

Other top models of the J-Link family are J-Link PRO, PLUS and Ultra+. Designed to mount securely and unobtrusively into development or end user equipment. Small in size and with two mounting holes, this means J-Link BASE Compact can be placed into existing equipment housings or reserve space for direct-to-PCB mounting.
Powered by USB, J-Link BASE is a JTAG debug probe that supports a wide range of CPU cores and microcontrollers. It is based on a 32-bit RISC CPU, with an ability to communicate at high speed with supported target CPUs. Worldwide, J-Link is used by the thousands for flash programming.
The J-Link debug probes are supported by all major IDEs including Eclipse, GDB-based IDEs and SEGGER Embedded Studio. For a complete list, please refer to Supported IDEs.

Including all models, more than 500,000 J-Links have been shipped so far, making J-Link probably the most popular debug probe for ARM cores and the de-facto standard.

Further Advantages
J-Link BASE Compact supports unlimited breakpoints in flash memory. It has built-in VCOM functionality.
J-Link BASE is available in two form factors with identical function:
